Now that the National Defense Authorization Act has been unanimously been approved by both parties, the funding and contracting has begun to build temporary detention camps. These are simply detention facilities to hold American citizens until they can determine if you need to go to a more permanent detention facility or dealt with in another manner more fitting.
Yes, this has been in the works since President Jimmy Carter, and every president since then has had their part in it. Each president has passed a specific executive order regarding FEMA in the event it is necessary to implement Martial Law. Just another example of how the government has been taking away our rights, liberties, and freedoms one step at a time so that the people will not notice. When will America WAKE UP?
This is one of the most serious and blatant signs that our own government no longer fears the people but the people now fear the government. The founders warned us that if we did not pay attention, this very thing would happen. This is clearly a bi-partisan project. Even though they cannot agree on the debt ceiling, budget cuts, spending, or taxes, they can clearly agree to arrest and detain indefinitely and use the military against citizens in our own country.
Why is it that every president, regardless of party, signs into law with an executive order, giving FEMA overreaching powers and authority. Authority to invoke martial law in the event of a natural disaster, man-made disaster, financial crisis, or public disruption. And they all seem to forget to mention that to the voters.
Would that include their non stop spending spree that is driving us into an economic collapse? Maybe it would include the public disruption from the OWS Movement, they so dearly endorse. Maybe it is the Tea Party Movement that they refer to as terrorist and enemy!
The president has already worked around Congress and openly states he will continue to circumvent Congress in future actions. America has sat idle and allowed these parties to do as they please in hopes that things will turn out different. WAKE UP America, it is all a smoke screen and a well orchestrated show. Both parties work together behind closed doors, then publicly put on a show that makes it appear as though they can’t stand each other or get along. WAKE UP!
They already have over 600 detention centers across the country. Quit being lazy, do some research. Even MSNBC mentioned it in one of their articles over the weekend of Dec. 11, 2011. MSNBC, for God’s sake people. Will you sit by and figure that it won’t happen to you until it is too late? Well, it just might not happen to you, YET. Is it because you conform and agree with our current president? What happens when they have rounded up everyone else and have nobody left to go after, except you? Maybe it will be the next president, the one that’s like another George Bush, will you have a problem with it then? It will be too late then, besides, if George Bush and Dick Cheney were as mean and evil as President Obama wants you to believe, then why does he have one of Dick Cheney’s companies contracted to build temporary detention centers in all 50 states?
Finally, do the math people, these facilities will house MILLIONS of people, supposedly terrorists and enemy combatants. REALLY? Do the math, 10 years of war in Afghanistan and Iraq, we managed to capture a couple of thousand, we have ended the war in Iraq and have brought the troops home. Who is the enemy? The American VOTERS who are standing up against an out of control government? The government who no longer fears the people?
Not convinced yet? Hey, they have even requisitioned special made train cars with shackles. WHAT? They intend to capture that many here in America? How long have they known about this? Since they clearly knew it was an issue, then why weren’t they able to secure the border? Does this sound like a conspiracy theory? Well ask yourself what could this be leading up to? The New World Order? Every president in your lifetime, regardless of party has been telling you about the New World Order. You might be trying to deny it, but the pieces are starting to fall in place and it is hard to deny it anymore.
Our government, when the truth is discovered, convinces people it is a conspiracy theory so that people will simply blow it off. Why? Because they know human nature does not want to believe the truth, it is easier to live in denial and hope that things will get better. The New World Order cannot come about that easily, people will not allow it. BUT, if there is a global financial collapse and people are starving, they will agree to anything to eat and make it better. With global currency comes an Open Society and One World Government. America, please WAKE UP!
We hope that everyone has an opportunity to give thanks during this holiday. Do not fall into the trap that because you are out of work, had your car repossessed, or are behind on rent or mortgage payments that there is no reason to give thanks. These are simply material possessions, that is not what you should be thankful for.
Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for family, friends, and good times together. That is possible because of the freedom we are able to enjoy that was all made possible by the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and Bill of Rights. We should also find a little time today to be thankful for our founders for implementing them for us, as well as our children and grandchildren.
Does anyone else not find it ironic that the 99% are protesting the 1%, yet these 99% are the very 1% they protest. Not everyone can get approved to attend Harvard, Duke, Cambridge, Columbia, or Berkeley, only the 1% are usually granted access to these universities.
They are protesting against politicians, bankers, Wall Street professionals, and CEO’s of big business, yet these very people are themselves graduates of Harvard, Duke, Cambridge, Columbia, or Berkeley. The very universities they are attending will lead them into the very positions that they oppose.
Furthermore, a study was done of those arrested in New York that discovered that these protesters do indeed come from the likes of the very 1% they are protesting. There was one video in which a young man was saying “that is the bank that foreclosed on my parents house”, only further research disclosed that their half million dollar house had not been foreclosed on, and that his parents were both high paying graduates, within the 1%, and they were alarmed to hear what he was saying.
Several people, obviously not the media, have confronted the occupiers about this hypocrisy, and they have not taken it very well, it actually offends them when they are confronted with the truth and facts. But then again, I suppose it is human nature to get offensive when made to look like and idiot.
Here lately, it appears their true agenda is showing itself. They started out by opposing big business, the banks, and Wall Street, however, they now appear to be attacking the Tea Party, Republicans, Christians, and Jews or anyone who does not agree with them. So is this it? Or will they change again? I think we should pray for them. Pray they come to their senses and leave their drug-induced, disease- infected, and crime-happy craziness behind.
I have been wondering how all these students manage to spend almost an entire month in a park, when they should be in class. I know that I myself am a student and part of my student loan requirement was that I had to maintain my grades and attend classes. If I miss 5 days in a 10 week session, I will be put on disciplinary action and if I miss 10 days, I am out of school.
The school said that it is part of the accreditation requirements, as well, or they will lose their status as an accredited school. Therefore, I ask, how is it these kids protesting are not kicked out of school due to their attendance record. The U.S. Department of Education and a non-government organization known as the Council for Higher Education Accreditation is suppose to ensure that the accredited schools follow and meet the guidelines required to be accredited are met. How is it these schools are not losing their accreditation? They are clearly either falsifying records and defrauding the government, or either the U.S. Department of Higher Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation is part of the scam.
This started well after school classes had begun, so if they claim that it is a class that all of these students signed up for, then there should be records of this in their registration. This class would have to have some sort of curriculum to go with it, which means the U.S. Department of Higher Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation Standards would have had to approve it several months or a year earlier for it to be approved. Which means that this would not have been a spontaneous movement as they claim.
What will happen to these schools if they lose their accreditation? Would the degrees issued by them be worthless pieces of paper? Will these schools have to refund all students tuition money? If the U.S. Dept. of Higher Education and/or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation is part of the scam, will it go down as another scandal under this administration? It does appear that the president is encouraging them to ditch their education, you know the education he is always using as a campaign gimmick or rhetoric against the other party. Now it appears their protest is just for his political gain. Why spend a day in class when you can party at the park and still get an Ivy League Degree.
How many of these students are receiving food stamps, housing assistance, or allowance from the state to cover daily expenses while attending school. Would they be defrauding the state government, as well, if they claim they are attending classes everyday? Have they violated any of the terms of grants by not attending school classes?
These students say they are tired of being poor, they could get a job instead of hanging out at the park. Some of them stated they wanted society to pay for their education, well, instead of signing up for that student loan maybe they should have asked Michael Moore or the president for a check first, then registered. You realize that getting people like Mr. Moore, the president, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, VP Joe Biden, and Susan Sarandon to cut checks to all of them directly would be the wealth redistribution they want.
By these rich people paying off all students, then all of us students could hang out at the park and not ever have to work for the degree the president talked us into signing up for. I know if they would just simply cut me a check for about $80k, I could go fishing at the park everyday instead of using that degree to go to work. Then equality could be achieved by becoming lazy overweight couch potatoes watching TV, playing video games, surfing the internet, interacting on social networks, and partying.
Of course under their theory of equality, where everyone gets paid the same and gets the same benefits, they assume that someone else will still volunteer to run the electric plants to power their toys, that someone will still volunteer to dig the ditches for their fiber optic cables, and someone will volunteer to collect the trash at the curb. All for the same pay and benefits as someone sitting behind a desk that has the same degree as themselves, maybe they will be the volunteers for the crappy jobs.
To those who have chosen to rise up and occupy Wall Street, now known as OWS, you should stop and think about those who sent you, do they have a hidden agenda? You claim that the banks are evil, greedy bankers that are causing your school tuition to rise. First, the schools and universities set the tuition rates, the banks are the ones who lend you the money. The government could have capped the rates they charge, but chooses not to.
The professors of these universities that have tenor, and choose to teach about the evil corruption of capitalism and the rich, are some of the very people helping to establish the rates set by these schools. These professors who teach you that the rich must pay, are themselves some of the very rich they are getting you worked up about. Some of you have said that society should pay for your education, well, are you not part of society? Did you not voluntarily choose to further your education beyond your FREE public education? When you succeed in getting society to pay for your education, then it will be your responsibility as a member of society to pay for someone else’s. You’re well educated, stop and think. If you are able to accomplish their goal, will you share in this great defeat?
No, you will not, you will be blamed for the failure of the stimulus bailouts. They will claim that it was working until you brought down the whole system. They will not be affected by the collapse, but those close to you, your parents and grandparents are the ones who will suffer the greatest. You will lose any inheritance they may have had planned for you. They will lose their life savings, retirement funds, and 401(k) because you elected to follow the plans of destruction by the ones who will benefit the most from your success.
Protesting on Wall Street and at the Federal Reserves will not resolve anything, these actions will not bring the justice that you seek. If you truly wish to see the bankers and traders pay for their actions, then why is it you are not told to protest at the White House and Justice Department. That type of protest would force the arm of the media to cover your plight. It would force the president and US Attorney General to take actions and arrest those who you wish to see pay for their evil greed. How is it with your education, you have not asked – why are these top traders and bankers not being prosecuted by our government? But instead receiving bailout and stimulus funds.
There are union leaders who have made it very clear that they intend to destroy the banks and Wall Street. They are using their professors to organize the students from colleges and universities to achieve this, so that their hands remain clean. Surely you are not a “youthful idiot” as the dictator, Mussolini, once referred to the youth for the sole purpose of an uprising. You would have not chosen to pursue a higher education, if you were. Why is it, the president who is also supporting you and is rich, not standing there with you and handing out his wealth?
Therefore, it is utterly imperative that you ask yourself and peers, why are you not demanding the medias attention to get the president and Justice Department to arrest those responsible? Why would they want you to crash your own economy and country? For what purpose does it serve? Why are they not there standing by your side with you during these uprisings? You are being used merely as puppets that will take the fall for them, while in the end, the very bankers and traders you seek action against will simply walk away and keep their fortunes and your parents’ and grandparents’ savings, too.
Surely you do not believe in the ‘wealth redistribution’ they speak of. In a socialist society where wealth redistribution exist, it is not taking from the rich and powerful, it is the rich and powerful choosing to redistribute the wealth of all the citizens, except for their own wealth, of course.
Michael Moore is an example of those who talk about wealth redistribution, but do not mean their own personal wealth. He is there supporting you in New York. Why is he not giving each and every protestor at least (5) five ($100) one hundred dollar bills? He believes in wealth redistribution, so why is he not leading by example and handing out his wealth? He has millions himself. Should he not be sharing his wealth with you? After all, you are just a student barely making it. He most likely has it in one of those banks you are protesting, he should be able to go inside and make a withdraw. He even thinks Cuba is better than here, so why does he not live in Havana? Sean Penn, is another one like him, he says that it is better in Venezuela and yet he lives here. Ever get the feeling you have been lied to?
If you truly believe this is what they speak of, then take the time to visit Russia, China, and Cuba for 2 or 3 weeks, do not spend the night in a nice hotel in a major city, instead go to outlying areas. Ask their citizens how that system works. Do they like having multiple families in a single household? Do they enjoy not being able to afford a home computer or gaming system? Maybe they enjoy that only a few can buy a car. Their governments do supply them with their NEEDS, but their wants are entirely different. Do you truly believe you will be given a gaming console, satellite tv, cable, your own car, healthcare, food, and housing the way you know it now?
Before you make hasty decisions based upon their directive, you should ask yourself some of these basic questions. Have you thought about asking your parents or grandparents what would happen to them if these protests brought down the banks and Wall Street, or do you just blindly follow their commands? Would it not be better to see those responsible have their assets frozen and brought before the courts and not crash our country? Considering we have suffered so greatly at the hands of these few, why should Americans suffer anymore?
Now ask yourself, are these individuals asking you to protest at the wrong locations, for your benefit or for THEIRS? Seriously, let your intelligence glare through their smoking mirror campaign. In the end, you will be disappointed when the system you think you getting turns out to be something different. If your goal is to simply get a job, then show true American spirit and create one, heck create several for your friends and college buddies too, unless your simply too lazy and want handouts. If this is the case, then stop and think, if everyone is living off free food, free healthcare, free housing, free education, and free clothing, WHO is paying for it? Because the rich will move out of the country and take their money with them, therefore, someone has to work. In places like China and Russia, the government decides who will work, where, how long, and for how much, but their needs are free.
Muslim extremist reside here in America and others obtain visas from our government to come speak here at conferences. They openly talk about taking over our government, replacing our constitution, invoking sharia law, and executing those who fail to convert to Islam or obey sharia law. And our government and the media ignores this, instead, they make it seem as if this is not what they mean.
Understanding sharia law, women must be covered in public and they cannot hold positions in office, public or private. Sharia does not require due process, anyone can impose judgment, and without evidence. They do not have to wait for police or any other law enforcement in order to pass judgment and punish someone in a manner they see fit. Gays, lesbians, and adulterers are to be stoned to death. Atheist or any non-believers are to be executed without the option of converting to Islam. They do not stray from these beliefs. If they see fellow Muslims with a bible, christian literature, pamphlets, or even “think” they seen them with it, they have the right to kill them and cannot be found guilty of any crime according to sharia law.
Well, sharia law must work with them because they have grown up and been brainwashed with it. They haven’t given thought to how it would work inour society. We are creative here in America. We can turn their laws against them in a manner that they had never considered. By the time we are done using their laws against them, those that remain will be begging for America to remove any and all forms of sharia law.
If we find ourselves in the unfortunate situation of being overrun by these extremist and having to live by sharia law, we could most likely use sharia law to eliminate the extremist. Americans might simply say, we thought we saw them with a bible, christian pamphlet, or thought we heard them praising another God other than Allah. The punishment for this is death. According to sharia law, it will be justified judgment and punishment. This could become a double edged sword in a battle against extremism.
Unfortunately, I do not see it stopping there, people will be seeking revenge against those in the media, especially the faces they recognize, who failed to tell the truth about these people and what they plan to do. This will most likely apply to any and all politicians who did the same. They, too, will be held accountable for their attempts at trying to sugar coat the reality of these extremist agendas.
Many people, including Christians, will be claiming “tho shalt not kill” and this would be true. But it must be noted that even God has made it clear that there are exceptions, He also says that thou shall not spill the blood of the innocent. The bible even tells us that there always has been and always will be war. And being overrun by Muslim extremist would be considered war.
Therefore, if you are engaged in battle for the survival of Christians and Christianity itself, and are put in a position where you must STOP them, that will not be considered spilling the blood of an innocent man in the eyes of God. We would will do what the Romans had to do, and do it better. Once Americans have been awakened by the reality, the enemy of America and all Americans will regret waking up a sleeping beast that will show no mercy. Americans will make the Romans look like wimps that were too merciful on these people the first time.
For some reason, there has been quite a stir about how the Second Amendment is worded, not sure why because it appears to be rather straight forward. It states:
“A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people shall not be infringed.”
The “right of the people”, sounds like an individuals rights, regardless of how you want to interpret it. Even so, there are those who want to take that right away. They are trying to use the tactic that because it does not specifically state “individual”, that you don’t actually have that right.
Well based on that theory, they still can’t take anybody’s guns, WHY? Well it is quite simple, ‘We the People’ will engage the very tactics they use and base it on a loophole! “A well regulated militia”, now based on that, I am a one man militia, and I regulate myself quite well! Second part of the loophole “being necessary to the security of a free state”, this means that my one man militia is prepared to protect and keep my state free and safe should the state governor call upon any and all militia members to organize, to secure the state.
The founding fathers wrote the Second Amendment to prevent the type of dictatorship and tyranny that was happening in England. The English Bill of Rights was established in order for the King to disarm his subjects, however, they had made it clear that Protestants could remain armed for their own security and protection.
Alexander Hamilton said in 1788 (found in the Federalist Papers 29-45): If circumstances should at any time oblige the government to form an army of any magnitude[,] that army can never be formidable to the liberties of the people while there is a large body of citizens, little, if at all, inferior to them in discipline and the use of arms, who stand ready to defend their own rights and those of their fellow-citizens.
However, we will take a close look at how the US Supreme Court interpreted the law in recent history. District of Columbia vs Heller (2008), www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/07pdf/07-290.pdf :
The Second Amendment protects the individuals right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home. Pp. 2-53 (a) The Amendments prefatory clause announces a purposes, but does not limit or expand the scope of the second part, the operative clause. The operative clause’s text and history demonstrate that it connotes an individual right to keep and bear arms. Pp. 2-22 (b) The prefatory clause comports with the courts interpretation of the operative clause. The “militia” comprised all males physically capable of acting in concert for the common defense. The Anti-federalist feared that the Federal Government would disarm the people in order to disable the citizens militia, enabling a politicized standing army or a select militia to rule. The response was to deny Congress power to abridge the ancient right of individuals to keep and bear arms, so that the ideal of a citizens militia would be preserved. Pp. 22-28
So as you can see, we don’t need a bunch of corrupt lawyers, bent on socialism, trying to use loopholes to terrorize us. Based on this, anyone using these tactics is nothing less than a terrorist, reigning terror on the peoples rights. It is quite clear they are using tactics to violate our rights, which could be interpreted as a terrorist activity. So why doesn’t the CIA and Department of Justice investigate these individuals, groups, or organizations? Could it be the Department Of Justice is currently caught up in it’s own propaganda warfare against firearms known as “the fast and furious”?
Secondly, these people are now discovering that ‘We the People’ are not as dumb, ignorant, and stupid as they had anticipated. For instance, let’s take a look at V.P. Joe Biden who stated that “anyone who owns a gun is crazy and by law means they can not own a gun”, well based on that analogy, does this mean that the secret service agents protecting him are crazy? Well, he could start by showing a good example and have the secret service put down their weapons, of course, he could still charge them rent for his security detail. Now I can honestly say that we almost never heard from his predecessor V.P. Dick Cheney, except when he had to apologize for shooting his hunting buddy. Now there is an idiot with a firearm. So who is the most dangerous of the two? Cheney shooting his buddy, or Biden always shooting off his mouth?
I personally do not own a firearm, however, I am not and will not give up that right willingly! I joined the NRA the very first time I heard these numbskulls were considering such legislation. I for one, have had enough of both parties stealing my rights, little pieces at a time. Pay attention, they swap views on issues so that neither one is truly the bad guy, because both sides think you’re an idiot.
There are those who oppose guns and have the IQ equal to that of a pet rock and say “guns kill people”, no stupid, people kill people. A gun does not fire unless a person is operating it. In addition, to your silly argument, mankind killed one another BEFORE firearms, they used swords, knives, bows, machetes, and even rocks, so unless you have something intelligent to say, SHUT UP.
There are those in the government who want to disarm citizens, to take away their ability to secure a free state. If you want to exercise your right to not own a firearm, feel free, some of us want to keep every right we have and not surrender any of them. It is clear that our founding fathers included the second amendment for our protection against a corrupt government that would seek to disarm its citizens. Our founding fathers understood that when a government wants to control its citizens, it disarms them! So even though you say you don’t want to own a firearm, you should at least support and encourage others to own them. Otherwise, you could find yourself in a situation where the only people that have guns, is criminals and the government!
The biggest hole in the global warming issue is Al Gore’s pie hole. Here is a man that twist facts, tells everyone how they should live and make sacrifices, while he does the complete opposite. What he fails to tell the people is that there is the Kyoto Protocol, a Division of the United Nations, that requires industrialized nations to submit payments to, by the billions. What is the true purpose of these funds? Where does this money go? Nobody ever seems to ask the tough questions. Why does the United Nations need the funds, when they already require counties and nations to donate to them directly?
Well, it pretty much breaks down to a financial monopoly by the United Nations. Countries earn credits by meeting certain goals or by paying ‘monetary donations’. Countries that have excessive “credits” can sell them to countries that have not met the guidelines. These “credits” bring them into compliance. Nothing meets compliance like money does. So much for the “Global Warming Issue”, that appears to be a scare tactic utilized by politicians to justify spending the peoples money and gaining votes.
Why is Al Gore telling us that we should not be using gas guzzling vehicles and that we need to change our light bulbs to a $50 bulb? While he is jet setting around the globe, traveling with his entourage and gas guzzling motorcade, but we should make the sacrifices. Really AL? Why is it that Al Gore manipulated facts in his “Inconvenient Truth” film, where he used portions of facts and omitted others to make his charts show an “Inconvenient Truth”. Well, the National Geographic conducted their own study, they confirm that the earth does have a changing climate, and always has. However, they do note that it has been expedited within the last 100 or so years, just not to the extent AL Gore leads one to believe. Additionally, they pointed out the facts that were clearly omitted from Al Gores charts, which changes his “Inconvenient Truth” considerably. He makes his fortune off of movies and speaking engagements and really does not care about global warming except to make a living off of those who are willing to listen.
I guess Al Gore failed to pay attention in school when it was time to learn about how the entire planet was covered with ice at one point. I suppose those nasty dinosaurs created a lot of carbon monoxide! Then caveman came along and built a fire and invented the wheel which led to a complete meltdown.
There have been earthquakes, tornadoes and tsunamis that were far more damaging than what we see today, and that was before automobiles, planes, and the internet that Al Gore created. Instead of him twisting facts to remain in the limelight and make a buck, maybe he should go back to counting voter card election tabs and leave the world alone. Bill Clinton and George Bush are retired, they can help him count the tabs, oh wait, they actually became presidents, sorry Al, count them by yourself.
Going back to the Kyoto Protocol Committee, what are they doing with all the money they have been collecting from industrialized nations? Are they planning on supplying the world with $50 light bulbs for free? Why is China prospering and refusing to join this elite club? Granted China is stealing and counterfeiting everyone else’s ideas, however, there is a real possibility that they see right through the scam of this Kyoto Protocol Committee.
Why does the news media not report the truth on this? If this is such a major issue, why the secrecy? There is a lot of money going into a very large account that someone is spending, while all these countries are going broke. Where are the tough questions from the networks? If it is really about fixing a global warming problem, then why can countries buy “credits” to be in compliance? If there really was a problem, then it wouldn’t be getting fixed, right?
Why does our Environmental Protection Agency invoke such harsh regulations on the coal industry? They have required some to implement safety standards that take 3 years to build the equipment, and give them 6 months to be in compliance?
Why does our government promise alternative energy, then make sure that other countries like India get the equipment first? Why do they want to shut down our current electric sources when the alternative energy sources are unaffordable and will not be able to sustain the amount of power we require? Since the Ambassador to the United Nations is a Muslim, does it mean that it is being governed according to Sharia Law? Maybe that is the real reason China will not participate. Just a thought.
This year started off with earthquakes in Japan that caused a tsunami and pretty much destroyed most of Japans infrastructure, homes, jobs, and schools. They had massive loss of life and a potentially devastating threat of a nuclear disaster. However, they did not take advantage of each other, they worked together to help each other survive. People actually waited in line to get food for others instead of themselves. How many Americans would do that for a fellow American? Typically, Americans do come to the aide of those in need, unfortunately, many are as self serving as our politicians.
Take a close look at the recent tornadoes, earthquakes, floods, droughts, and hurricanes that have caused distress in many parts of our country. During these hard times, how many of them, that lost everything, were prepared? Of course, during some of these disasters, had they been prepared, they still might have lost most of their emergency supplies, however, if everyone was prepared, then the lucky ones could help those who lose everything.
FEMA has begun buying up emergency food supplies in mass quantities. They have actually put other peoples orders on back-order, even though the others placed their orders first. What are they preparing for? You can verify these facts from the governments own website that they are buying massive amounts of food and storing it underground, for what?
Better prepare yourself for something they are not telling us. Is it nuclear, devastating earthquake, meteor shower, or radiation burst when the planets are all lined up in 2012. They are not preparing for a picnic at the park, that I can assure you. Therefore, you better prepare yourself. Do not wait on the government to save you. In the event of a national disaster, they may not be able to get to you for many months, possibly years depending on the nature of the disaster.
Now granted, even if they do know something they can not tell the public. WHY? Because people are pretty much idiots, they would act like complete hooligans, looting, stealing, robbing, rape, murder, and so on. It would become a lawless land, because there are far too many simple minded fools out there. Stop and remember, did your grandparents stock up on food and supplies or did they just assume that the government would save them?
There has been much debate about December 21st, 2012. Will it be the end of the world, NO! Will it be the end of the world as we know it? Maybe, the planets will all be lined up, and nobody really knows what that means, meteor showers, solar burst, magnetic pulls, or changes, who knows. The Myans created a calendar that ends on that day and they based everything on the planets. That day could be nothing more than the reset of their calendar system, who knows, but apparently FEMA is not betting on that theory.
If a huge meteor were to hit the ocean, there will be catastrophic tsunamis world wide. If some hit the land, there will be fires, creating smoke, dirt and dust clouds that would choke out the sunlight. Remember what you learned in school, how it killed the plant and vegetation leaving no food for the dinosaurs. And water would most likely be undrinkable or frozen.
Only a fool will dwell on these things, and a true survivor will be prepared for anything. You should at least be prepared for basic, normal disasters and be willing to help as many people as possible. Just think, even if the government finally gets around to you, that doesn’t mean they will have anything left!

America was based and built upon immigrants, from every continent, nation, and country from around the world. It is what America is founded on. Any person who denies this or refuses to accept this, as fact, is an uneducated idiot and most likely a racist hoping for a pure society.
The difference is that they came here through the legal process. They did all the required paperwork and became naturalized citizens in order to build a better life for their families. All of them utilized the proper procedures. They assimilated into society, recognizing our laws, values, and language without trying to change it to the country they left behind. Amnesty is a slap in the face to those who came here using the legal process, it simply says we will reward those who broke the law with the same benefits as legal citizens.
The border issue, along with the amount of illegal immigrants, has become a real problem that the government refuses to recognize or address. They want to offer amnesty and not because it is the right thing to do, but for political gain. Politicians are always fighting for the rights of those who are here illegally, only for more votes and cheap labor.
Name any other country in the world that has such leniency on illegal entry of their country. Even the Mexican government is telling us to be tolerant of those who came here illegally, and at the same time, if you cross into Mexico illegally, it is an automatic 5 year sentence. Why do they not want those who are here back?
This issue is not limited to Mexican nationals. Our country has people of all nationalities that are here illegally. Some come here on work or student visas, then disappear and refuse to leave when their visa is up. This has become a growing problem that is totally ignored, and the federal government is trying to stop the states from drafting their own legislation to do what the federal government has failed to do. All because they want votes and cheap labor.
The fact that we have a President who stated that we need to bring the American workers wages more in line with that of the immigrants, is alarming. Should he not have said we need to bring the immigrant workers wages in line with that of the American worker? Hilary Clinton stated that we can not ship out the illegal immigrants because there would be nobody to make the beds or clean the hotel rooms. It appears that as long as you are paying pennies on the dollar for slave labor, then it is legal to own a few slaves who you can treat like the dirt you view them as.
Are they creating a slave labor society? Where are the unions on these matters? Look at the meat plants in Minnesota were American union workers were replaced with illegal undocumented workers who joined the union. When the federal government raided the plants, the unions were screaming that they were illegally deporting good honest union workers. WHAT? They are here illegally, they can’t be too honest. And shouldn’t the union been fighting for the higher paid union members who were replaced by cheap labor?
During the debates on amnesty in the summer of 2007, I watched in awe, as former Senator Ted Kennedy defended them by stating “they had no choice but to steal identities from people, because they were undocumented”. WHAT? Senator Arlen Spector stated “that just because they had previous DWI charges, doesn’t mean that they are bad people”. WHAT? Wait, if an American citizen gets multiple DWI charges, the media crucifies them. Why don’t they treat those here illegally the same way? Then Senator Harry Reid states they are good people trying to provide for their families in Mexico”. WHAT? They can go back to Mexico and be with their families. Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi was defending the amnesty, saying that only the skilled laborers were wanted by stating that “she has seen with her own eyes these people picking beans in the fields of her state, and that is a skill”. WHAT? I could teach monkeys to pick beans. What’s next? Cotton fields?
The nationalization and immigration offices have even tried to stop states and law enforcement from enforcing the laws. WHY? Illegals cross the border and kill border agents and the media does not report it. However, if border agents fire back, then the media is all over it. And if any of those who tried to kill our border agents is actually injured or killed, them or their families file suit and get paid off by our government. Then the border agents are charged for doing the job they were hired to do.
Should our government not be wanting to enforce our borders? Should they not want to deport those here illegally so Americans can have jobs? Why should those here illegally be able to consume the resources of the American citizens? Why should they be able to send their children to our public schools, even if it means that our child’s education might suffer? Why are we not allowed to deny medical access, unemployment, food stamps, or mortgages? Some have even used up the social security benefits of others who could not qualify themselves.
President Reagan granted amnesty to millions here, and all it did was create an environment where even more people started arriving in hopes of being in the next amnesty group. There have been all types of legal battles to prevent the border from being closed. Even those who claim that desert land will be destroyed. One way to protect the land from a fence being built, would be to end the pointless wars in the middle east and bring our troops home. They could be stationed every 3 feet along the border with the border agents! That would secure the border!
This breaks down to political gain and profit and nothing more. The Democrats are trying to push this through for votes and the Republicans and some Democrats are paid off by corporate lobbyist. The sad thing is, the corporations continue to gain greater profits by hiring slave labor, while 41 million Americans are out of work. They have figured out that slavery is illegal, so if you pay them pennies, it is legal. The government was even offering corporations incentives to hire immigrants and bring them here.
The “Dream Act” they are pushing so hard for, breaks down to an open ended amnesty license for all citizens of Mexico. They are touting that it is for those children born here illegally to become citizens and it will allow them their education. However, it also makes it so that their families are inseparable. Parents, sisters, brothers, grand-parents, aunts, uncles and cousins will all be able to have access, if not, you are causing undue hardship by creating a separation of family. Is this part of the greater plan of an Open Society, Borderless Global Community, or New World Order we have all heard about. It would kind of fit, don’t you think?
We live in the greatest country in the world, however, that doesn’t mean we are without our problems. Both Democrats and Republicans will admit that there are problems with the IRS and it needs to be fixed. But between their bickering over the years, the IRS have been given more over reaching power and authority and has been used as an unfair game for all Americans.
Today the tax codes are extremely overwhelming and written in a manner that is so confusing that the average accountant is confused by them. Most experts and many IRS agents cannot agree on what some of the rules mean or how they are to be interpreted. The IRS has to employ 2 million people just to sort everything out. That’s a lot of people that the taxpayers have to pay for! One of the problems with the federal deficit, is the shear size of the government and it’s payroll. Just think if we could eliminate the IRS? People always argue that if you eliminated it, there would be over 2 million people out of work, what would they do? Well, as Americans (most of us have been out of work for awhile) they would find a way to survive or create a job for themselves. Americans are creative.
Furthermore, if you look at the governments accounting method, they pay 2 million IRS employees. They deduct taxes from their check and then count what they deducted, as income. It is a little confusing, how they can count money, that they did not pay them, as income. And nobody can figure out why we are going broke. To make things worse, they want to increase the size of the federal government so they can have more of this same income accounting practices.
Many people feel that corporations are not paying their fair share, however, one must note that in fact they pay more than double of the average tax payer. The difference is, they use legal loopholes in which they get it back and pay little to no taxes in the end. The lower income class of tax payer on the other hand, (the one screaming that corporations are not paying enough) actually get an even better deal than the corporations. Most lower income citizens get back what they paid into taxes, plus some. There are those who pay $2,000 or less into taxes and get back $3,000 to $8,000 in credits on their tax returns, then yell about corporations and the wealthy not paying enough. What it does is mess over the middle class tax payer, they usually end up owing on their tax returns. They should be upset and having a fit considering they are the only ones paying taxes.
Others are arguing that a flat tax system will never work, well, that is what Australia does and it works just fine. They even have ‘free’ healthcare. Some argue that the rich should pay more, well, with a flat tax, they do pay more. Nobody would have federal deductions taken out of their paycheck anymore. The more you spend, the more you pay, it is called a fair tax. If you buy something for $10.00, with an 18% flat tax, then you would pay $1.80 on the item. However, if you are rich and paid $10,000 for an item, then you would pay $1,800 in tax on the item. The rich buy more expensive items and therefore, would pay more in taxes. The same would apply to corporations. Their equipment and supplies would cost them more and nobody could use loopholes to get anything back. That means the government would be in a surplus within the first 18 months, from reduced payroll and increased revenue.
So who is fighting this? Corporations, the elite rich, and of course the IRS agents who would be out of work. The corporations hire lobbyist who pay off Congress to make sure that it won’t ever happen. In the end, it just becomes worse and worse unless we decide to do something. The politicians keep bickering and making money off it, the corporations keep using their loopholes, and the middle class keeps getting hammered on. When do we say enough is enough?
Ralph Nader has stated that the Democratic party is 100% certain to nominate a candidate to run for office against the incumbent President Obama. At the time of this writing, the Democratic party is still debating on who that nominee would be. Well, this raises some serious questions as to why.
Do they feel that the Presidents approval ratings are so low that another candidate is necessary to try and keep a Democrat in office? Do they feel that their incumbent is doing that poorly of a job? Some of them have stated that they are watching another version of former President Jimmy Carter unfold before their eyes, only this version is worse than the original. WOW, that is a very harsh statement, not to mention, a slap in the face to the President by members of his own party.
Although, this could be nothing more than a campaign strategy being employed by the President’s campaign manager. This would allow the President to get on TV and have the appearance of holding campaign debates in order to interact with another candidate and the people. This would also allow the media an opportunity to create biased news stories in order to help protect this presidency. This could also be a tactic to steal votes away from anyone they feel threatened by.
Currently, the Republicans, and Tea Party are touring the country holding debates and this takes away the limelight from the President trying to get his message out. Regardless of how you look at it, the President, Tea Party, and Republicans are “focused on campaigns” and not about fixing our country. Yes, it is their summer break, but do you really care? Do you get a summer break from your issues?
No matter how you look at it, the idea that a party feels the need to nominate a candidate to run against their incumbent President is not good. When do you ever remember this taking place? When former President Jimmy Carter was the incumbent in office, the Democrats did not feel the need to nominate another candidate to run against him during his re-election campaign. Nor did former Presidents Nixon, Reagan, G.H.W. Bush, Clinton, or G.W. Bush have nominees appointed to run against them. Or is this simply just another “first” for this President.
When it comes to election campaigns, it is time for us, as a nation, to DEMAND that the SMEAR tactics used by all parties STOP! If they insist on continuing the mud slinging, then we should automatically eliminate they from election!
Stop telling us about your opponents failures and voting records. We are quite capable of looking up that information for ourselves. We want to hear what you are going to do if you’re elected and where you stand on specific issues. This allows us to make informed decisions, provided the media will get on-board and tell both sides of the story.
We must DEMAND they stop with the political correctness and give us straight answers. Enough of giving us 2 minutes of fluff that sounds good but says nothing. We want DIRECT, straight forward answers without the politically correct fluff.
We DEMAND an answer NOW, no more of the “I will have to get back to you on that”. This means you either don’t know or don’t want to answer until you have time to have a writer draft a politically correct answer full of fluff.
We DEMAND that you stop making promises that you may or may not be able to keep. If you cannot GUARANTEE with 100% certainty that you will be able to keep a promise, then do not make that promise. We are tired of empty suits making promises that are broken and then saying “I tried” – well that is not good enough anymore.
We DEMAND the media stop being BIASED and tell all sides of every story. Don’t simply forget to tell us something, they need to start being REAL journalists again. This applies to EVERY media network out there and I mean EVERY network. A true journalist does not take sides, but pursues the truth, regardless of how painful the truth might be.
This is uncharted water that President Obama’s Administration has waded into. The War Powers act was put into place to have checks and balances to prevent a president from having dictatorship powers. That is why war requires congressional approval. Obama is testing the waters to see how far he can go and this Congress is sitting idle, watching him make them useless.
One thing most people are also overlooking is that President Obama is setting a new precedence for future presidents. Can you imagine what the reaction would have been if George W Bush had tried this. Well, just wait until a Republican or Independent gets in office and does this. The people turning their heads now will be screaming that the Constitution is being violated. Furthermore, look at those in or around this administration, until Senator Obama became President, they were all 100% ANTI-WAR, even Senator Obama was absolutely Anti-War. Now they appear to be OK with it.
Regardless of which party you are affiliated with, you must question, why Libya? At that time, 35,000 people had been killed in Mexico, was that ok? Over 1,000 was killed in Syria, and that was ok? Yet, 300 was killed in Libya and we had to attack and overthrow the regime of Colonel Qaddafi? We also sent $25 million dollars to aid the Libyan rebels, who were up to that point, killing American soldiers on the battlefield in Iraq. What?
We will have to wait and see how the Supreme Court rules on this one. Wonder if they will be smart enough to take into account the precedence being set for FUTURE Presidents?
We the People of America agree that entitlements must be cut 100%. However, not for us the people, but for the politicians! This is not party related, this comes from US THE PEOPLE, who are united in this. Because unlike the politicians, We the People can unite and compromise.
That is correct, no longer should the politicians be rewarded with lifetime benefits that far exceed what they have earned. From now on, we demand that they create new legislation that allows them these fine benefits and perks while they are in office. However, upon leaving office, they should collect social security and medicare like everyone else. If it is good enough for us, then it should be good enough for them. This alone will save America a fortune in it’s national debt.
Secondly, we demand that their first task in office is to create legislation that puts social security back into a trust fund and out of the general fund, where they feel that they can spend it as they please. By enacting this type of legislation, our retirement money will be there when we retire. If they fail to agree to create this type of legislation and make this promise to America, do NOT expect to be voted in office. It is time that all of the politicians to start working for us the people and not for themselves. Let the lobbyist spend their money on us for a change.
The national debt of the United States has become so astronomical that the average person cannot even comprehend such numbers. Well, I ask a few, simple questions:
First, if we default, does that mean China is the biggest holder of JUNK Bonds?
Do we send politicians (past and present) to China to work off this national debt they created? Since most are multi-millionaires or billionaires they can most likely pull together enough of their money to prevent this from happening. As a matter of fact, wouldn’t this be part of their wealth redistribution ideology they are trying to get people wound up about?
Should the states dissolve the federal government and create a new and improved government that has better checks and balances in place that are based on the Constitution and Bill of Rights?
Should the government create a government OWNED central bank? Not like the Federal Reserve that is PRIVATELY owned, but government regulated?
Should the United States get back to the gold standard even though the rest of the world won’t? Let them crash, if they so choose, but does that mean we should follow?
The United States has just had it’s first ever downgrade in it’s credit rating by Standard & Poor, one of 3 credit rating agencies. Why did this happen? Well, there are several factors involved in this downgrade, all of which, could have been clearly avoided.
Politicians in Washington, DC are to blame, I am referring to ALL politicians, from all parties, including the President. Obama made it quite clear that if both sides agreed to meet the demands of the 3 credit rating agencies, he would veto the bill. Why? What is the real agenda here? The credit rating agencies required 6 trillion in budget cuts over ten years, increased revenue, and a balanced budget. Why would our president threaten to veto these things?
Democrats absolutely oppose spending cuts. They believe that the more we spend, the more we save, not sure how that works. Does it work for your household budget? Joe Biden stated that the more we spend, the more we reduce our deficit. Can anyone explain how that works, so far, it has only increased our national debt and devalued the dollar.
Republicans absolutely refuse to raise taxes on corporations and wealthy individuals. Why? These are the same ones who use loopholes to pay NO taxes. Well in a sense, they are right, raising the taxes is not the issue, the right thing to do is close the loopholes. Sounding off with raising taxes for corporations and the wealthy, is strictly political campaign talk, that carries no weight, what-so-ever. If GE was paying 200% in taxes, it would not have mattered. The loopholes would have allowed them to get it all back in the end, and still would have paid zero taxes.
The requirements that these politicians imposed are absolutely absurd. 4 trillion over 10 years breaks down to 400 billion a year, when the current budget is 3.7 trillion a year. Think about this for a moment and do the math. That doesn’t sound like very much to me.
Additionally, Congress today can not impose spending budgets or restrictions on future congressional budgets, it does not work that way. This is simply another political ploy to get more votes at re-election and nothing else. Every year, Congress is suppose to produce a budget plan. Which is another reason why they should have a balanced budget amendment.
If they want to get serious about balanced budgets and debt ceilings, they should create two separate bills for the people to vote on and have the people decide on which of the two is best for the country.
Wealth Redistribution, is it really what they portray it to be? Absolutely not, they want you to believe that wealth redistribution is simply taking money from the rich and giving it to the poor. Sorry, this is not the story of Robin Hood, but more like the rich ‘robbing the hood’. This is a strategy to eliminate the middle class, leaving only two income classes, the elite rich and the poor. They use this strategy to get people wound up and motivated for their cause, they will even try to create new forms of saying it. Listen to these people very, very carefully.
Ever wondered why it’s always the rich and elite suggesting it? Do you really think they are talking about handing over their fortune? They want you to join together and DEMAND wealth redistribution, like a form of legislation is required to do this. If it is such a GRAND idea, then why have they not opened up their check books and sent every American a check yet? I know that I have been checking my mailbox every month and still NO payment from these elite rich and powerful people calling for it. Where’s my check? They have been late with their payment, can I charge them late fee’s?
No, in their world of socialist views, they gain greater power, keep their money, and they will collect from the lower classes, making the lower classes even poorer. Not only will they decide how your paycheck should be redistributed between the lower class, middle class, and of course themselves, but some have hinted that it would also include property and other assets, calling it asset equality.
Just look at the list of people with the same views, same message, and same hidden agenda. These people are far left Democrats with extremist progressive ideas and they include Nancy Polosi, Harry Reid, Arlan Specter, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Barrack and Michelle Obama, Joe and Jill Biden, Ben Berneke, George Soros, Richard Trumka, Stephen Lerner, Leon Panetta, Bill Ayers, Van Jones, Bernadine Dohrn ,Michael Moore and the others. They will call for social justice, equality, and say that it is the neighborly thing to do. If you’re rich you can afford to give a little to the small guy. If this is their true agenda, well then it is time to ask them where your payment is.
