Suspend the 2012 Elections

.

Currently, there are those who, as the media says, “was just joking”, that want to suspend the 2012 elections so that politicians are not wasting the time and money on campaigns and can focus on turning our country around. This is a very sad and pathetic joke. Personally, I think it was a way to test the waters to see just how the public would respond, and the media has put the “just a joke” spin on it once it was discovered that nobody, regardless of party affiliation, found it funny or constitutional.

Well first off, this shows their concern about themselves being able to get re-elected and using the excuse of wanting to get done what should have been done 3 years ago. They should think before making “jokes” in such bad taste, especially when it would severally violate our constitution.

Additionally, as a theoretical side note, if anyone in office feels that the 2012 campaign is preventing any office holder from doing their job, maybe they should stop campaigning and let their record be their campaign. Should that not be sufficient enough for them, then maybe they should consider the option to end the campaigns now, and simply hold the elections in November 2011.

This would require the winners of the elections to hold office an extra year in order to keep all of the future elections on track accordingly. This would also serve the purpose of ending all campaigns and allow whoever is president and a members of congress to focus on getting done what should have been done 3 years ago. The jobs bill should have been the very first thing the president focused on once sworn in, not 3 years later at re-election.

Finally, if the president and congress are unable to focus on their duties because of campaigns, then it just might be time for the state governors to suspend the federal government, and create a 50 member panel of governors to operate the government until the 2012 elections are held. This would help the problem of the out of control spending, since the federal government would effectively be shut down. We would not be paying salaries or benefits to millions of federal employees, president, or congress, this would give them time to enjoy unemployment like everyone else. The governor panel could bring home all the troops and the federal reserve would have to stop printing counterfeit money and bailing out their buddies. Should this opinion piece offend anyone, well, just think of it as another “joke”. I don’t have the media on my side like they do, it is my job to raise awareness and get people from all sides thinking in America’s best interest.

Keeping the Poor Man Down

There are currently those within the government who have every intention of keeping the poor man down, they claim to be working for the little guy. However, when you look at the policies they have put forth, it says something else entirely. The policies and legislation on it’s face value sounds good, but upon a much closer look, you will see what they are really seeking. If you are the little guy, you are not going to be very happy once you realize you have been duped.

Take a look at the policies they have implemented just in the name of education. Oh, they are about the education system alright, but not for the reasons they want you to believe. They claimed that kids in the California schools were having troubles learning according to the methods used for decades, so they needed to allow Ebonics so they could pass. Now, when these kids grow up and try to get jobs in the real world, how well is that going to help them? When they can’t pass or comprehend what is going on in college, did you really help them? Was the real goal to keep them down, make it so they needed to be reliant on the government for food stamps and welfare?

How about the ‘No Child Left Behind’ policy? Here we have a few kids having problems in school, as it has been for decades, and instead of getting them the help or tutoring they needed, let’s bring down the entire educational system so everyone learns at the same level as those having trouble. Here again you now have an entire generation who was duped by our government. While the rest of the world is bringing up their standards, we are lowering ours. This only leads to where they will have issues trying to get jobs other than in a restaurant. And when their generation becomes our nations leaders, wow, won’t we be the envy of the world. Was the real goal to keep them down, make it so they needed to be reliant on the government for food stamps and welfare?

Government Healthcare, yes, another budget breaking issue. Here they created legislation to spend money they don’t have. They said people would be dying in the streets if they didn’t pass it. Well, there is one serious flaw with that argument, there was existing federal laws that prevented hospitals from turning people away with any life threatening problem, even if they were in the country illegally. Many were already getting healthcare from their states along with the food stamps and housing assistance, so why the federal healthcare? It still leaves 32 million people without coverage. They know who those 32 million people are, so why not tell us who they are, afraid it will hurt re-election efforts?

The government has several variations of assistance available to those in need. The original intentions of these plans were a good thing, but soon became abused and used to keep the little guy down. Food stamps were available to those who were truly in a bad spot and trying to get back on their feet. As usual, the government turned it into a way to keep people reliant on them so they would not excel and instead created a program where people were actually awarded for not working. They have done this with the unemployment programs and housing assistance. When everything crashed in 2008, that gave them an opportunity to create a welfare nation, and they have worked feverishly since then to make sure jobs were not created and people would become lazy and not want to go back to work. And with that, we are one step closer to a socialist state. Socialism is not a good thing. It is the death of Capitalism and the death of freedom. Our children have been raised with freedom and I for one, can’t bare to see them live without it.

Protestors: Presidential Endorsement

Currently, there are protestors occupying Wall Street and the Chicago Federal Reserve who have been organized by the SEIU through Universities and Colleges. The media remains silent and the president is constantly at SEIU Headquarters endorsing them.

This began back in May, and was recently followed again by Stephen Lerner, a vocal union leader who has made it clear that he intends to bring down Wall Street and the banks. He has nothing to worry about because the media will not cover his actions and currently ignores what is going on in New York.

The president, who champions and speaks frequently at SEIU, claims that his efforts of recovery for the banks and Wall Street are working, and yet ignores those who are trying to destroy his efforts. It appears very strange that this president ignores both union leaders and protestors that are threatening corruption of our monetary system, when he should be ordering their arrest. He should also have his Justice Department investigate these actions that would under a normal presidency, be called a terrorist activity. But instead this administration prefers to call American voters who disagree with them ‘terrorist’ and the ‘enemy’.

If his efforts of recovery are working so well, why would they need an additional $400 billion dollar bailout? And with Europe threatening another recession, why would he let them destroy what he claims is working. Could it be that it is not working and he will be able to once again find a way to point the blame at anyone other than himself.

The union leaders and those at SEIU have found that they can convince the younger generation that it is these evil bankers and traders who are causing this country harm. They have discovered that one of their favorite idols, Mussolini, also used the youth and called them “useful idiots” in order to achieve chaos, disorderly conduct, and massive protest in order to create a socialist state. They convinced these college kids that a socialist democracy works and that capitalism fails. Well, capitalism does fail if it is being run by corrupt politicians, but socialism fails when run by corrupt dictators.

The only people that will lose if they succeed in collapsing Wall Street and the banks are those who have money tied up in IRA accounts, 401(k), and stocks. Those calling for this collapse have already taken the necessary measures to protect their own assets and money. They have nothing to lose.

Now, in one regard, it is true, bankers and traders do bear a certain element of responsibility of the crash of 2008, yet, this president cannot find any wrong doings. Maybe these protestors are in the wrong location, maybe they should be protesting at the White House and Justice Department asking for answers. This type of protest might force the president and the Justice Department to do their jobs and bring those responsible to justice. That might be a protest that would work.

Who is Barack Obama?

I do not have any proof to back the scenarios in which I put forth. I just find it interesting that this president has gone so far out of his way to seal and hide so much of his background. The legal fees he has spent to accomplish this is completely mind boggling, and why?

When voluntarily becoming a public official that is the price that one pays. Every president, congressman, governor, alderman, or even mayor has submitted this information. None have tried to hide it. If you don’t like it, don’t run for office. The people have a right to know who you are, what you believe, what you stand for, and if you have the credentials you claim to do the job you are applying for.

The first issue was his long form birth certificate from Hawaii, along with that, he also had his school records sealed. WHY? Is he ashamed of being an American, is he ashamed of his grades, is he ashamed of something he wrote about how he views America? There are many people who think that somewhere it says he is a Muslim. Well, on that one, I disagree, I don’t think he believes in anything but himself, power, and greed.

People have been speculating that he was not born here in this country, but in Kenya. Maybe. But that still would not explain why he is hiding his school records. So that has led me to question whether he applied to Columbia and Harvard as a foreign student. If he was born here in Hawaii and falsified documents to make it seem like he was born in Kenya, then there must be documentation from the other country, which means he defrauded the federal government to get his education. This of course, is a felony, which means he cannot be president. Which also means someone at Harvard knows this information and is withholding it, that is also a felony for them.

As I said, there is no proof to back this up, it is just a scenario that would explain a few things. But unfortunately, there are still holes in his story. We have never had such a stranger in the White House before. It’s as if we don’t know him at all. Can you remember a time when you felt that way about the President of the United States before? We may never know the truth, it has long been covered up and rewritten. All we can do is make sure that he is either a one term president or held to the same standards as everyone else, beginning with the 2012 campaign.

Experts Say No to Gold Standard

First, let me say this as diplomatically as possible, experts my butt! Congressman Dr Ron Paul is the only person who has even considered talking about this. The government and so called financial experts say we cannot go back to the gold standard because no other country is on the gold standard. Well, for all of you not-so-expert experts that have been brainwashed, let me break it down for you. Almost every country in the world is either broke, teetering on the edge of being broke, or simply in denial that they are broke. Like us trying to buy their way out. Therefore, is now not the time for all of the countries to get back onto the gold standard?

Neither our government, nor any other government likes this idea because it limits their ability to print as much currency as they feel they need. This is where the brainwashed experts will dispute this topic. Furthermore, if all these countries truly want to create a global currency, then their work is done! There has been a global currency in existence since man first started buying, selling, and trading. Yes, you guessed it, gold and silver.

Paper money is nothing more than an IOU. That is why it says, “Note Legal Tender for All Debt, Public and Private”. Originally, the paper money was backed by GOLD. Once it was no longer backed by gold, it became a worthless piece of paper backed by absolutely nothing more than an IOU from a federal government, that had nothing but empty promises to back it up.

Today, they want all of these broke countries to get together and form a global currency. It will be backed by more IOU’s and broken promises from global politicians, leaders, rulers, kings, and dictators who have shown us time and time again, what their word is worth.

Right now, the dollar is about to collapse, the European union is saying that the Euro is about to also collapse. Well, would NOW, not be the time to get every country back on the gold standard. What this tells me is that they must discredit Dr Ron Paul, because his philosophy is a threat to their agenda that they have spent the last 40 years implementing. Do not be confused, this is NOT bound by party!

The experts say that it would take too much to create legislation to get us back onto this standard. Well, it should have been that much trouble to take us off the standard to begin with. Simple legislation that would repeal the law that ended this standard would suffice. After all, our gold is simply stored at Fort Knox, Kentucky, just waiting to be counted, verified and ready to serve it’s intended purpose once again, is it not? I mean it can’t possibly be in the vault of the Federal Reserve because then it would be in the hands of private entities, leaving some explaining by our government officials.

A Bailout That Would’ve Worked

George W. Bush was close to having it right, he sent the American taxpayer a stimulus check, however, it was insufficient to get anything done. President Obama has used over a trillion dollars in bailouts that “saved the financial markets from ruins”, well the truth is, it reimbursed those who donated generously to his election campaign.

The leaders of our government are not stupid, they are educated and know what will work and what will not, however, they assume that the American taxpayer is not at their level of intelligence. They realize that they could have sent a one time stimulus check to each tax filing citizen for $10,000 and spent less money.

This tactic would have saved people from foreclosures. People would have bought new cars and paid off credit card debts. These actions by the people would have determined which banks that hold mortgages and credit card debts would succeed or failed. The people buying new cars or paying off their existing cars would have determined which auto makers failed or succeeded.

However, a stimulus of this magnitude paid out to the taxpayer would not have guaranteed golden parachutes to campaign donors, this would not have helped in trying to break the American spirit, which it failed to do anyway, this has only opened the eyes of the American taxpaying voter.

They have been desperately trying to devalue the dollar and create a scenario in which only a “Global Currency” can save the day. Currently, as this is being written, the Fed is preparing to spend another $400 billion, a clear sign that many heavy campaign donors want their money now in case the president fails in his re-election bid. Apparently, they do not believe in his “Better Idea’s” campaign strategy and we, of course, will pay the price, once again. At this point, all we can hope is that it does not end as bad as some analyst say it will.

Obama Predicts His Re-election

President Obama has stated that he will win re-election because he has “Better Ideas”. One thing that he has overlooked is the fact that the American voter has seen his better idea approach in 2008. That lead to a disastrous reality of failed policies and programs, not always due to the program itself, but mainly from the timing or manner in which they were pursued.

Thus far to date, he has focused on his tight knit circle of friends and campaign donors. His first order of business was to ‘bailout’ campaign donors to ensure they were rewarded for getting him into office. Secondly, he focused on shoving down our throats a Healthcare Reform Bill that we did not want. This has lead to non-stop court battles, in which of course, more campaign donors are awarded money in the form of legal fees. Cause we wouldn’t want to forget the lawyers and lawyers association that donated quite heavily to his campaign, now would we?

Now, he wants to propose a jobs bill at re-election time. This has all been a campaign strategy from the very beginning and nothing more. If the president was truly concerned with the average American worker getting back to work, he would have done this FIRST, not save it until it was time for re-election.

So now, he states he can win because he has “Better Ideas”, well Mr President, we do not want better ideas, especially since your better ideas are the same old garbage. He says, “The American people need to shoulder the burden”, well, the American people have shouldered the burden long enough. We want better policies. We want policies where the president and his campaign donors carry the burden. We want someone who has actually worked a real job, has managed or owned a real business. Someone who can do basic math and not promise to cut the $9 trillion deficit in half within 4 years, but actually increased it to over $15 trillion in 3 years. We do not want to hear about long term extended cuts over 10 years, tell us what will be cut in the next 16 months. Show what policies will entice business to hire jobs in 16 months.

President Obama has run this country on his better idea ideology for 3 years. We have seen how he has used his position in office to ensure campaign donors were awarded loans, without the proper process, ‘bailout’ funds for their golden parachutes. Union leaders that pretty much have an office in the White House, provided they continue to pay his re-election campaign dues, I am sure.

Well, the president should try a new strategy, instead of using his rhetoric to make the other side look bad, maybe he should try implementing better policies that will actually make him look good. Hows that for ‘Change’? There is no doubt that he is truly convinced that everyone loves his Healthcare Reform and could easily get it through again, if needed. Therefore, why not simply put it on the back burner, temporarily repeal it for 3 years, get jobs moving again and then re-vote the healthcare bill again, should not be a problem.

If you do the math, and figure that with all of the money that has been wasted on useless bailouts, they could have sent every American taxpayer a check for at least $10,000. That would have jump started the economy. They would have paid their mortgages, bought new cars, and paid down credit card debts. This would have decided what banks, auto makers, and financial markets would have survived, of course, some of the presidents donors might have suffered. But in the end, the Fed would have printed a lot less money and the economy would have rebounded immediately.

To sum things up, forget better ideas. The president needs to implement better policies. He needs to stop the childish rhetoric and trying to make the other side look bad. He needs to focus on using better policy to make himself look good. Show the people that they matter more than the campaign donors, or his own prediction of winning re-election is completely misguided.

Stop Inflating the Math

.

This is directed at the current and future presidents and all politicians, it would be meaningless to try and include previous ones, although they do bear much of the blame. You cannot control what the next president or congress is going to do, so stop trying to include them in your fiscal budget math, this is nothing more than a tactic to make the numbers large and sound impressive.

Currently, President Obama is using math numbers of $3 trillion dollars cut over 10 years. First, you can’t even be sure if you will be in office for more than 16 months, so why would you project 10 years? And should you get re-elected, that is still only 4 years, and even then, the budget changes annually, why forecast 10 years?

Secondly, $3 trillion over 10 years is $300 billion per year. Well, if your current budget is at $1.73 trillion, minus the $300 billion, that still leaves a $1.43 trillion budget, which seems a bit excessive. Therefore, instead of thinking of Americans as too stupid to comprehend, think of us, as fellow citizens who might actually be as smart as yourself. Instead of making fun of Governor Rick Perry’s grades at Texas A&M, tell us what your grades were. If you are so ashamed of your grades, then one must take it that they were probably lower than Mr. Perry’s. We can only gauge by the math you have put forth over the last several years that you did not excel in that area of study. Nor in geography, since you say you have been to 57 of the 50 states.

Congressman Tim Pawlenty put forth a budget plan when nobody else would. However, it too, had the same flaws, extended periods of time creating inflationary numbers to sound better than reality. We The People are smart enough to understand the game you are playing and want it to stop. The best you can do, or any other politician can do, is treat their budget plan as a business plan. A president is elected for a 4 year term, therefore, if the elected person wants to create a 4 year budget plan, use it as a business plan and compare it to reality during those 4 years, our country would be in less of a mess.

What Americans want from their president and all other elected officials, is THIS YEARS BUDGET. Tell us what you are going to cut from this years budget and what revenue will your budget bring in this year. The number inflation game serves only one purpose, that is for political gain, especially during a campaign cycle. These numbers have absolutely nothing to do with reality. Even using them in the form of a business plan model, it is merely a prediction. That prediction is used as a guideline to follow and then real time numbers are compared to that prediction as time goes on, to evaluate how close you were able to make an accurate forecast.

Previously, we discussed how they manipulate numbers to sound just great and fantastic for political gains. Now we can discuss another issue with budget plans, as proposed by all parties, they like to use the term “discretionary spending”. Uh, NO. We want definitive answers. If you submitted a business plan to investors with these types of projections in it, they would walk away and say, “ I don’t think so”. They would need to see exactly how that money is being used, as to whether or not to invest their money.

Now, it is not my intentions to mean any disrespect to the president or the congressman. However, it was important to illustrate the way in which politicians inflate numbers for political gain and simply think of the American voter as too uneducated, illiterate, and uninformed to comprehend what they are doing. Change is definitely needed, not the Obama vision of change, but one based on factual math would be a start.

Americans Squeak Back

.

It is surprising how many people I have heard, mainly from the left of the left, saying that the US Constitution is outdated. That is both funny and sad all at once. What does that say about these left of the left people? The foundation that America’s Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Declaration of Independence were built on, comprised of religion, values, morals, and ethics. However, for those who don’t believe in God, Christ, or any other form of higher power, for the sake of argument, we will remove religion from the equation.

That leaves us values, morals, and ethics that the foundation still stands upon. Therefore, if you believe that these documents are outdated and need to be re-written, then it is because you are a person who simply does not have any values, morals, or ethics. And rewriting them in a manner that no longer encompasses these virtues, would allow you to feel better about yourself since you believe that you will no longer be violating these principles.

Many who have chosen to pursue a path in leadership, either in a public or private position, have elected to abandon these principles in order to achieve wealth, fame, and power. They use their power and influence into rewriting these documents and America’s history. They have been achieving this little pieces at a time, to go unnoticed and not draw to much attention, hoping they can achieve their goal.

Americans have sat back and let a few squeaky wheels suck up the oil and make these changes. At what point do we as Americans start “squeaking back”? The documents created by our founders is best left alone. If you are that dissatisfied with these documents and the principles they were built upon, then you need to either work on getting back your values, morals, and ethics, or you do retain the right to move to a country where none of these types of documents exist.

We will not stand by and watch you destroy our country and the foundation that it is built upon, just so that you can gain greater control for your desperate need for power. We are going to make sure our squeaks are heard and get the oil, in order to stop that endless squeak of yours. There comes a time when a squeaky wheel becomes to annoying to deal with and must be silenced altogether.

Diplomatic Destruction of Israel

.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will be seeking statehood status from the United Nations Council this week, and this amounts to pretty much nothing. Even most Palestinian people do not expect to see any changes in the way they currently live. This whole scenario is a tactic being utilized to garner support from nearby countries that also hate and want Israel destroyed. The president is seeking statehood for the West Bank and Gaza, the president controls the West Bank, but is at odds with the Hamas controlled Gaza strip.

Hamas uses the territory they occupy, to continuously attack and harass Israel. Everyone, including our president, suggests that the lines be withdrew to the 1967 lines. By demanding that Israel do this, does nothing more than leave them defenseless, which is what started the whole 1967 war to begin with.

They claim that this needs to be done in order to achieve peace in the region. Well, the problem with that same old song and dance is, back in 2004 they promised if given land it would bring peace. Israel gave them the land and all it brought was more intensified shelling from a closer range. Therefore, if it would truly bring peace, should they not have proven that from 2004 to 2011?

They can try to achieve “non-member” status, however, if they elect to pursue this route, then Israel can sue them for the damages sustained from the constant shelling and suicide bombers. The biggest issue with that is the world would view them as the big guy, picking on the little guy and I am certain it will lead to more ‘peaceful’ attacks, from the ‘peaceful’ Islamic religion. After all, they don’t want to kill everyone, just those that don’t worship Islam or follow Sharia Law.

They are merely using the media, like puppets on a string, to play their sad song for them in order to try and eliminate Israel and Jews entirely, nothing short of genocide of an entire people and race. They are working with Iran, Egypt, Syria and Turkey, all of whom want the total destruction of Israel and Jews. They even have people around the world helping them achieve this in the name of peace. Seriously?

Israel has shown much more constraints than I think I could have. If I was in charge and you shelled my country daily and refused to heed my warnings, there would not be a Palestine or its people left. You have media networks that fail to report that Israel is being shelled daily for weeks on end, yet as soon as they retaliate, the media networks are all over it, like the flies on crap they are.

They claim they have established a governing body, even though it is broken into 2 pieces and they can’t agree on much. They created their own flag, their own stamp and therefore, should be granted this statehood status. Well, if that is all it takes, I can find enough people to create a governing body, create a flag, and stamp and get my own country right here in America and would not have to deal with our own current broken 2 party system of government.

DC is a Dog Kennel

.

Washington DC is a dog kennel, the President, Vice President, and all 535 members of congress are no different than a pack of dogs, and this is not party bound. They will not bite the masters hand that feeds them and that would be their corporate lobbyist, campaign donors, and special interest groups.

They all know how to show up at your local events and make it appear that they want to hear what their constituents have to say. But in the end, they always vote according to those whose money speaks the loudest, and that is not your measly little $25 or $2,500 donation. They do appreciate the money being put into their coffers, but it is not loud enough to actually be heard.

You the voter, are nothing more than just someone who gets to pat them on the back and watch them wag their tails. Watching them on TV is like judging a dog show. Which is better groomed? Which one is more elegantly poised? Which one speaks on the the masters command?

Making matters worse is we can’t even think of them as watch dogs. They don’t guard the border which means they will let anyone roam into our yard. When it comes to our money (think of it as dog food) they simply let every other dog in the world have it. If they thought of the voters as their masters, they would listen to our commands and they would not let strays from around the world into the yard without getting our approval.

It is not that they can’t hear us, maybe it is because they don’t understand us. Maybe we need to start speaking their language at these fundraisers, campaign events, and town hall meetings and start howling or saying ‘woof, woof,’ just to see if we get a response. Which leaves us to wonder, when it comes down to lobbyist and campaign donors, do these dogs beg for more treats?

Finally, just like a pack of real dogs, they have become extremely vicious and are attacking innocent American citizens and voters, and each pack is fighting a territorial battle. They are drooling and foaming at the mouth, their hair is standing on end and they will maul anything in their way.

It is time to turn them over to the pound and get new dogs. Puppies that we can train to obey our own commands, and will actually keep the lobbyist and special interest groups out of Washington DC. We should be their Masters, they should be considering us voting them in, as the hand that feeds them.

Presidents Job Plan Bailout

I must call out and question things the way I see it. President Obama’s newest job plan, STINKS to high heaven. He keeps calling for creating union construction jobs, well, that is fine, however, there are a lot more people out of work besides union construction workers.

There are people out of work in accounting, technology, truck driving, alternative energy, heating and cooling, office managers, warehouse managers, forklift drivers, manufacturing, distribution, paralegals, call centers, real estate agents, property management, bank tellers, retail clerks, and many more.

I see it as another strategy to reimburse funds of another campaign donor and nothing less, just like the bank and wall street bailouts before. It is now becoming even more clear that this president has used his influence to get another one of his campaign donors, Solyndra, approved for a $535 million dollar federal loan. Even though the company was not suitable for the loan, the president got it passed through so they could show Solyndra as the ‘new green energy’ way of creating jobs for the future.

Now they have taken the money, laid off their workers, and filed bankruptcy. Well, that story is beginning to sound a little too familiar. So far, every business endorsed by this president has either closed their doors or needed to be bailed out. Every country this president has stood behind has collapsed and needed to be bailed out. He says he stands behind the American worker, you guessed it, we are all out of work. He endorses the Democratic party, and yes, once again they are losing their seats.

Well, America does need jobs, but what they need is less government, less regulation, less over sight, and the repeal of Healthcare Reform so that American businesses will have the burden lifted and will be able to start hiring once again. It is the job of businesses to create jobs, not the government. With his current track record, what we really need is for the president to endorse somebody like China and get off our backs, then maybe we can get some of our jobs back.

Search for the Truth-Media Network At Its Worst

The media is not about reporting the news anymore. The only thing they are concerned with is ratings and how to manipulate stories to get the most coverage and ratings for it. The views of the owners, editors, and reporters is all that matters. The stories are told in a manner to meet the views of these individuals and who they prefer to see win the campaign, debate, or issue at hand. The news from the network leans either left or right based on who is funding or running them. The networks lean this way:

ABC – Liberal Biased Network

None are truly, fair and balanced, they may try to report as fair and balanced as possible, but you must admit, they still lean one way or another. Then you have your special host, who are entertainers, even by their own admission. They generally get paid premium wages. These would be the following:

Rush Limbaugh – Conservative
Shawn Hanity – Conservative
Wolf Blitzer – Liberal
Cooper Anderson – Liberal

Don Lemon – Liberal

They all have their own way of thinking and describing the top news in a manner to meet the needs of their specific viewer audience. They always bring on their show the experts that will advance their ideas. Now the newest fad is to bring in someone they know will oppose them, and then cut them short.

Just try to read between the lines, some will actually encourage you to do your own homework and not take them for their word, they will even show you where to find the facts. However, pay attention I have seen some trying to mimic and when they showed where they obtained their information, I looked it up while they were showing the website on their show, but it did not match up in real time on the internet. The site looked the same, but the information they were talking about did not match up with the website. They even circled the print, but it was too small to read, so further research was required to verify their story and it failed miserably.

By doing such thorough research you will soon discover which, if any can truly be trusted in telling you the truth, in part or in whole, or not at all. The same applies here as listening to a politician on the campaign trail or during a debate on legislation, they tend to talk a lot of political correct fluff to get votes. Talk show host tell the story in a manner that will attract the most viewers for optimum ratings.

So viewers beware. And research, research, research! Make sure you are getting the news that you agree with and expect. If you expect truth, then make sure you are getting your news from someone that you can truly trust.

Hollywood Speaks Out

The entertaining world is a messed up industry, and far too often, people are more concerned with these celebrities than what is going on in their own life. Many times people do not even realize the hidden messages that Hollywood has placed in movies and sitcoms. To top it off, many actors and directors speak out and don’t really know what they are talking about, they just jump on any band wagon that will most likely get them the next big script.

Today, many movies and sitcoms have hidden agendas, they must force gay and lesbian sex onto you so that you will find it acceptable. They force Hispanics on you so that you will find those who are here illegally, not so bad, therefore, you will want them to stay. There is even a sitcom, Outsourced, about jobs that were sent to India. They do this so we will like these people and we won’t feel so bad about our jobs being sent overseas.

They speak out about gun violence and gun ownership, yet turn around and make it cool to run around shooting people, blowing up buildings, robbing people, stealing cars, and so forth. They want people to feel that it is ok, after all, there is always an attorney who will get you out before the day is over. Drugs are glamorized, prostitution is glamorized and everyone walks away unhurt and free.

Then you have your actors and directors who open their mouths when they should simply keep it shut. Take Michael Moore talking about how Cuba has a much better healthcare system and the people are nicer, well bye bye, we don’t need you here, go home to Cuba, fool. Sean Penn stated that if George Bush was elected as our president he was never coming back. He lives in California, of course, I am pretty sure that required him to come back. Then he talks about how nice it is in Venezuela and the royal treatment he received from their president, who calls for the Death of America, bye bye fool, Venezuela is missing a town idiot. And Danny Glover, whom I thought was a great actor, until he went to Venezuela and received funding for his movies from a president who wishes Death to America. Do I even start on Jane Fonda and her fiasco with the Vietnamese?

If these people are so unhappy, why are they here? They simply need your money to make them part of the elite rich they want you to forget they are.

Disarming Citizens–A Warning From the Founders

For some reason, there has been quite a stir about how the Second Amendment is worded, not sure why because it appears to be rather straight forward. It states:

“A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people shall not be infringed.”

The “right of the people”, sounds like an individuals rights, regardless of how you want to interpret it. Even so, there are those who want to take that right away. They are trying to use the tactic that because it does not specifically state “individual”, that you don’t actually have that right.

Well based on that theory, they still can’t take anybody’s guns, WHY? Well it is quite simple, ‘We the People’ will engage the very tactics they use and base it on a loophole! “A well regulated militia”, now based on that, I am a one man militia, and I regulate myself quite well! Second part of the loophole “being necessary to the security of a free state”, this means that my one man militia is prepared to protect and keep my state free and safe should the state governor call upon any and all militia members to organize, to secure the state.

The founding fathers wrote the Second Amendment to prevent the type of dictatorship and tyranny that was happening in England. The English Bill of Rights was established in order for the King to disarm his subjects, however, they had made it clear that Protestants could remain armed for their own security and protection.

Alexander Hamilton said in 1788 (found in the Federalist Papers 29-45):
If circumstances should at any time oblige the government to form an army
of any magnitude[,] that army can never be formidable to the liberties of
the people while there is a large body of citizens, little, if at all,
inferior to them in discipline and the use of arms, who stand ready to
defend their own rights and those of their fellow-citizens.

However, we will take a close look at how the US Supreme Court interpreted the law in recent history. District of Columbia vs Heller (2008),

The Second Amendment protects the individuals right to possess a firearm
unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for
traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home.
Pp. 2-53
(a) The Amendments prefatory clause announces a purposes, but does not
limit or expand the scope of the second part, the operative clause. The
operative clause’s text and history demonstrate that it connotes an
individual right to keep and bear arms. Pp. 2-22
(b) The prefatory clause comports with the courts interpretation of the
operative clause. The “militia” comprised all males physically capable of
acting in concert for the common defense. The Anti-federalist feared that
the Federal Government would disarm the people in order to disable the
citizens militia, enabling a politicized standing army or a select militia
to rule. The response was to deny Congress power to abridge the ancient
right of individuals to keep and bear arms, so that the ideal of a
citizens militia would be preserved. Pp. 22-28

So as you can see, we don’t need a bunch of corrupt lawyers, bent on socialism, trying to use loopholes to terrorize us. Based on this, anyone using these tactics is nothing less than a terrorist, reigning terror on the peoples rights. It is quite clear they are using tactics to violate our rights, which could be interpreted as a terrorist activity. So why doesn’t the CIA and Department of Justice investigate these individuals, groups, or organizations? Could it be the Department Of Justice is currently caught up in it’s own propaganda warfare against firearms known as “the fast and furious”?

Secondly, these people are now discovering that ‘We the People’ are not as dumb, ignorant, and stupid as they had anticipated. For instance, let’s take a look at V.P. Joe Biden who stated that “anyone who owns a gun is crazy and by law means they can not own a gun”, well based on that analogy, does this mean that the secret service agents protecting him are crazy? Well, he could start by showing a good example and have the secret service put down their weapons, of course, he could still charge them rent for his security detail. Now I can honestly say that we almost never heard from his predecessor V.P. Dick Cheney, except when he had to apologize for shooting his hunting buddy. Now there is an idiot with a firearm. So who is the most dangerous of the two? Cheney shooting his buddy, or Biden always shooting off his mouth?

I personally do not own a firearm, however, I am not and will not give up that right willingly! I joined the NRA the very first time I heard these numbskulls were considering such legislation. I for one, have had enough of both parties stealing my rights, little pieces at a time. Pay attention, they swap views on issues so that neither one is truly the bad guy, because both sides think you’re an idiot.

There are those who oppose guns and have the IQ equal to that of a pet rock and say “guns kill people”, no stupid, people kill people. A gun does not fire unless a person is operating it. In addition, to your silly argument, mankind killed one another BEFORE firearms, they used swords, knives, bows, machetes, and even rocks, so unless you have something intelligent to say, SHUT UP.

There are those in the government who want to disarm citizens, to take away their ability to secure a free state. If you want to exercise your right to not own a firearm, feel free, some of us want to keep every right we have and not surrender any of them. It is clear that our founding fathers included the second amendment for our protection against a corrupt government that would seek to disarm its citizens. Our founding fathers understood that when a government wants to control its citizens, it disarms them! So even though you say you don’t want to own a firearm, you should at least support and encourage others to own them. Otherwise, you could find yourself in a situation where the only people that have guns, is criminals and the government!

9/11 Remembered

How many of you have forgotten how you felt on that dreadful day as you watched in horror while the planes were being flown into the twin towers. How you felt while you watched the buildings burn and finally collapse on themselves with the people and first responders still inside.

I hope that people will take a moment of silence on Sunday 9-11 for the 10th Anniversary and say a simple prayer for those who we lost and their families who had their lives needlessly changed forever.

Pray for our troops who are still stationed overseas 10 years later, may they get to come home soon, come home alive and unharmed. Pray for our leaders who are more lost than anyone, even more so than those who attacked us blindly.

Town Hall Meets Out,Petitions In

Recently, President Obama announced a new way for us to communicate with the White House. This is suppose to be a great way for him to find out what is important to Americans. You are suppose to be able to file a petition and then get an answer or fix for that issue. But have you taken a moment to visit the White House website and read how this works? Do they really think people are that dumb? Seriously, it says that anyone can file a petition, so long as it has at least 5,000 signatures. To add a signature, it requires a person to register at the White House web site. After a petition receives 5000 signatures, then it will be reviewed by White House staffers. Those staffers will determine if it needs to be reviewed further by other staffers, who will then decide if it needs to be reviewed by other agencies. Then they will decide if it is eliminated or sent back for even more signatures, then back through the process again.

Basically, if it is not something that meets their agenda, forget about it. However, they will have a very detailed log of who the trouble makers are. Or at least the ones who don’t support their agenda. This is a tactic that they know will only encourage supporters of their agenda. They will be able to showcase what they view as what the people want, well, their people anyway. This is simply nothing more than a campaign strategy to appear like they care what people think. Why not use the town hall meetings that the President campaigned on in 2008, did it not goes as planned when he finally decided to try it?

When one thinks about their game plan for petitions, it is kind of like the tax payer telling the IRS, ‘hey we can handle our own audits, and we will get back to you with anything we find interesting’. Now if they were to actually make every petition available online for everyone to view during their process, it might be a different issue. Then they would have to acknowledge to people why something was rejected or even why it required more signatures before the President would be presented with it. It might even put the President in the spotlight as to why a petition was not considered, it could be bad during a campaign year.

One would guess that this is the best strategy they could come up with after spending time and money on their tour bus charade. The White House could simplify the process and actually use the town hall meetings online as promised during the 2008 elections. They could then put that information up on the website for all Americans to see, you know, just to make it transparent of course, just another 2008 campaign promise.

Global Warming–Has A Hole In It

The biggest hole in the global warming issue is Al Gore’s pie hole. Here is a man that twist facts, tells everyone how they should live and make sacrifices, while he does the complete opposite. What he fails to tell the people is that there is the Kyoto Protocol, a Division of the United Nations, that requires industrialized nations to submit payments to, by the billions. What is the true purpose of these funds? Where does this money go? Nobody ever seems to ask the tough questions. Why does the United Nations need the funds, when they already require counties and nations to donate to them directly?

Well, it pretty much breaks down to a financial monopoly by the United Nations. Countries earn credits by meeting  certain goals or by paying ‘monetary donations’. Countries that have excessive “credits” can sell them to countries that have not met the guidelines. These “credits” bring them into compliance. Nothing meets compliance like money does. So much for the “Global Warming Issue”, that appears to be a scare tactic utilized by politicians to justify spending the  peoples money and gaining votes.

Why is Al Gore telling us that we should not be using gas guzzling vehicles and that we need to change our light bulbs to a $50 bulb? While he is jet setting around the globe, traveling with his entourage and gas guzzling motorcade, but we should make the sacrifices. Really AL? Why is it that Al Gore manipulated facts in his “Inconvenient Truth” film, where he used portions of facts and omitted others to make his charts show an “Inconvenient Truth”. Well, the National Geographic conducted their own study, they confirm that the earth does have a changing climate, and always has.  However, they do note that it has been expedited within the last 100 or so years, just not to the extent AL Gore leads one to believe. Additionally, they pointed out the facts that were clearly omitted from Al Gores charts, which changes his “Inconvenient Truth” considerably. He makes his fortune off of movies and speaking engagements and really does not care about global warming except to make a living off of those who are willing to listen.

I guess Al Gore failed to pay attention in school when it was time to learn about how the entire planet was covered with ice at one point. I suppose those nasty dinosaurs created a lot of carbon monoxide! Then caveman came along and built a fire and invented the wheel which led to a complete meltdown.

There have been earthquakes, tornadoes and tsunamis that were far more damaging than what we see today, and that was before automobiles, planes, and the internet that Al Gore created. Instead of him twisting facts to remain in the limelight and make a buck, maybe he should go back to counting voter card election tabs and leave the world alone. Bill Clinton and George Bush are retired, they can help him count the tabs, oh wait, they actually became presidents, sorry Al, count them by yourself.

Going back to the Kyoto Protocol Committee, what are they doing with all the money they have been collecting from industrialized nations? Are they planning on supplying the world with $50 light bulbs for free? Why is China prospering and refusing to join this elite club? Granted China is stealing and counterfeiting everyone else’s ideas, however, there is a real possibility that they see right through the scam of this Kyoto Protocol Committee.

Why does the news media not report the truth on this? If this is such a major issue, why the secrecy? There is a lot of money going into a very large account that someone is spending, while all these countries are going broke. Where are the tough questions from the networks? If it is really about fixing a global warming problem, then why can countries buy “credits” to be in compliance? If there really was a problem, then it wouldn’t be getting fixed, right?

Why does our Environmental Protection Agency invoke such harsh regulations on the coal industry? They have required some to implement safety standards that take 3 years to build the equipment, and give them 6 months to be in  compliance?

Why does our government promise alternative energy, then make sure that other countries like India get the equipment first? Why do they want to shut down our current electric sources when the alternative energy sources are unaffordable and will not be able to sustain the amount of power we require? Since the Ambassador to the United Nations is a Muslim, does it mean that it is being governed according to Sharia Law? Maybe that is the real reason China will not participate. Just a thought.

Enough Already-A Letter to the President

Mr. President, we urge you to stop the Washington-as-usual rhetoric that you accuse all others of doing, while doing it yourself, enough already. We want a leader that is his own man, that is his own President. I wonder when you are going to put country before party or ideology?

In 2008, I did not like you or Senator John McCain being on the ticket for president, I disagreed with both of you. This left me in a position on election day to flip a coin and then vote according to who won the toss. Although, at this point, unless you stand up and become a man, a leader, and a President, I won’t have that problem in 2012.

Mr. President, as a former Teamster, I found your Labor Day speech in Detroit interesting. I stand behind my fellow American workers, do you? It was not that long ago when you stated we need to bring the wages of the American worker inline with that of the immigrant worker. Did you speak incorrectly? Did you mean to bring the wages of the immigrant worker inline with that of the American worker? I usually will take the union leaders recommendations as a side note, because, they too, are salesmen and politicians. I am not a mindless robot that runs by command, I make informed decisions for myself, especially when it comes to my country. Enough already!

You made many promises that you have failed to come close to keeping and you have not even considered coming close to thinking about implementing them. You promised transparency, yet, every deal that you have done has been behind closed doors. The only transparency we have seen out of you thus far, has been starting your own rhetoric, playing golf, betting on sports teams, and playing the part of a talk show host with daily appearances. America did not elect a talk show host and if America wants a professional golfer, we can tune into ESPN. Sporting bets, well, we all know where to find our own bookie, so enough already.

Stop blaming Bush, stop blaming everyone else, be a man, be a leader, take ownership for a “Change”. I don’t dispute that former President Bush left you a serious mess, but enough already. Many who voted for you are simply tired of constantly trying to defend you, enough.

You promised that unemployment would not exceed 8%, and it has not been that low since you took office, it has only worsened. You promised jobs, well first off, it is not your job to create jobs, it is your job to create an environment where business will want to create jobs. Instead, you have created the exact opposite environment. First you shoved healthcare reform down the peoples throats, even though they made it clear they did not want. Your Speaker of the House convinced members to vote first and read it later. Now it has done nothing but create unnecessary legal expenses our country can not afford and created an environment where investors and business owners are afraid to create jobs. You promised that healthcare reform would create thousands of jobs, and it did, in India. They were on the news channels talking about how excited they were and waiting for you to sign the bill into law so they could get on a plane and set up offices here to meet the needed requirements to put their people to work back in India. We expected jobs here Mr. President.

You promised all bills and legislation would be made available for the voters to view, read, and see before congress could vote on it. Yet, healthcare reform was a back room deal. When members of your own party did not agree, you had to make monetary promises to their state to get them on-board, money which our government did not have. You could have simplified the entire thing by adding to the current insurance regulations that they must accept pre-existing conditions. However, we later discover that there were excessive hidden amounts of money throughout the bill, the creation of unnecessary agencies, with over reaching powers and authority of agencies throughout the bill. None disclosed through transparency, enough already.

America did not elect the most popular kid in high school, Mr. President. Since your arrival in Washington, you have surrounded yourself with all of your buddies from the Chicago area, enough already. Become a leader and surround yourself with true professionals and not your best buds. Stop putting czars into position, czars are used by dictators, presidents nominate professionals that are then approved by congress. Especially when you appoint a jobs czar, that comes from a major corporation that pays no taxes, and then creates jobs overseas.

You promised alternative energy programs, and yet, the only thing we have seen to date is, is creating water turbines for India. We need alternative energy and the jobs it will create for our country, right here in America Mr. President.

You promised to govern from the center, not the left or the right, yet once sworn in, you made such a sharp left turn, most of America received whip lash injuries. You went so far left that you have been driving on the inside shoulder and not the in the lane, between the lines.

You tried bailouts and stimulus programs that have appeared to do nothing more than reimburse the ones who financed your campaign from 2008. Those in the banks and Wall Street clearly knew what they were doing and had a complete disregard that it could cause a collapse, and yet, your Department of Justice cannot find any wrong doings. That same department is doing a civil, not a criminal investigation into S&P for fraudulent loan activities that led up to the crash. America is tired of the Washington-as-usual politics Mr. President, and your administration has shown nothing different, any signs of “Hope” have been washed away with these policies and tactics.

Timothy Geitner is a classic example of your appointees. Here is a man who failed to file and pay taxes for several years and not until he was appointed to position of US Treasurer, did he take care of these matters. For the average citizen, we would be pursued by the IRS and would not be able to apply for a state or federal job position. He was the government regulator to oversee the banking and Wall Street financial industries, before, during, and after the crash, and he was appointed as the US Treasurer. These types of decisions are what is proving that you are a Washington-as-usual politician, enough already.

January 2011, unfortunately, Congresswoman Giffords was shot and many others killed, you stated that this type of hatred must stop and will not be tolerated. Yet, immediately thereafter, Republican Scott Walker’s state capital was trashed, at the expense of the tax payer, and death threats were made, and you remained silent. Where was your leadership on stopping such rhetoric, these were threats being made against a fellow politician. Even if you disagree with him, these were threats against a fellow American, were was your leadership Mr. President. Are you saying to America, it is ok to kill, as long as it is someone you disagree with or don’t like?

The media and many of your fellow politicians are calling the Tea Party racist, enemy, and terrorist, and you remain silent Mr. President. Many of them are also minorities; African-American, Hispanic, and Women. They are all voters Mr. President. Many are fellow members of Congress and yet you remain silent. You tolerate and refuse to correct those who call fellow Americans such names full of hatred. Many have been called racist for not agreeing with you, maybe, it is time to get a president in office who we can question or disagree with, without being called names. I know some Democrats who were offended that they were called ‘racist and Republican’ because they questioned what you were doing on some things. Mr. President, it is time for you to stand up, be a leader, be a president, and put a stop to this hatred and name calling.

America elected you for “Hope” and “Change”, and so far, do not like the direction “Change” is headed to. It was nice to see that America had come to a point where they would accept a minority into the White House instead of the same stuffy old white man routine. However, Mr. president, your policies are going to make sure that no other minority is elected again, for another 200 years.

Mr. President, it is time for you to get out of bed with the unions and big corporations, your wife is lonely, get back to your own bed. Stop comparing yourself to every famous previous President in history and be your own man, be your own leader, be your own President. Enough already!

Emergency Preparedness Checklist

December 2012 is right around the corner and everyone thinks it’s the end of the world. Well, it’s definitely not the end of the world, but everyone does agree that we could experience some kind of natural disaster. With FEMA preparing, it is a good time to look to preparing your family now, not only for a possible 2012 fallout, but for the natural disasters we have every year. It is speculated that FEMA is preparing for a disaster that can last one to three years, so the following checklist focuses on 3 year preparedness. Being prepared means you become part of the solution and not part of the problem.

Water Source
Your water source will determine how long you survive. You will need water for daily consumption, bathing, washing dishes, cleaning clothes, growing food, and possibly using a toilet. Most of these are things that will need to be done just to reduce the threat of diseases and infections. You can buy gallons of water and it will keep for a long time. You can also fill up containers with tap water, after you are finished with them. Soda bottles and old water containers are good for that (do not use milk containers to store water). When you store the tap water, just add 16 drops of bleach (per gallon) to the water. Also, consider a rain barrel to set outside for backup.

Special Note: When getting water from streams, rivers, or lakes, consider who could be upstream dumping stuff into it. Are they using it as a place to use the toilet? Never assume that because it runs over rocks that it must be clean. As an additional side note, toilets can be used without a water supply line, simply remove the lid from the tank and fill it with whatever water you can find from a gutter, creek, or mud puddle it does not matter it is getting used to flush your waste down into the sewer system.

Medical (bandages,stitches,flints,tongue depressors, alcohol, peroxide,aspirin,antibiotics)
The medical supplies you are able to stock up on will also be a key factor in the length of your survival, even if you are cautious and keep accidents to a minimum, you will need them at some point. If for no other reason if the stores are shut down, you can use them as a means of bartering with other survivors for goods or services. Most people already have a first-aid kit, but when you plan for emergencies, you may want to expand it, some people even put theirs in a backpack for on-the-go emergencies.

Special Note: During the most extreme circumstances you may be the only medical technician around and there may not be any medical supplies or medications available except what you have on hand. In this environment, the average life span will be the way it was 150 years ago. So at least know some very basic CPR, and possible field dressing techniques, because your life or the life of a loved one may depend on it. Use extreme caution, check for things that could cause harm, don’t walk into flood waters that could be contaminated with sewage and rusty nails.

Clothing
You will want several complete pairs of outfits per person, per season. This means if you are in an area that has 4 seasons, have the appropriate attire for each season and weather conditions. Also try to keep some clothing materials and sewing supplies on hand to mend clothes or even make clothes.

Special Note: Consider learning to sew, if nothing else you might learn something that you could barter with to get other supplies.

Food (3meals a day per person)
Attempt to base your food calculations on 3 meals a day per person, at the least, no less than 2 meals per day. People will need to understand that meals will be basic, possibly the same thing over and over again. You can start storing food by buying a little extra each time you go to the store. Almost anything in a can, is a good idea. Such as tuna, vegetables, fruits, salmon, and ham are all places to start with. You can also buy prepackaged emergency food that have extended shelf life. This has become a huge market, especially on the internet, it should not be a problem finding a good company to buy from.

Special Note: If there is no sunlight, do you have an alternate plan for growing or raising a food source? Otherwise gardening might not be an option, if it is, can you grow more than you and your family can consume or store? You can prepare for the winter, or use it to barter for other goods.

Electric Source (Solar,Wind,Water)
This could be a minute point and secondly, could cost you your life if nobody else has what you have and they really want it. So if you do set up an electric source, either consider providing enough for any immediate neighbors or keep it low profile and unnoticeable to others. Don’t use lights at night, don’t run an air conditioner in the heat of the summer, unless you are well organized or protected.

Special Note: The odds are, only the truly creative and mechanical thinkers will pull this off, but it will be possible to do, start researching and planning now and not when disaster strikes.

FEMA’s Prepared, Are You?

This year started off with earthquakes in Japan that caused a tsunami and pretty much destroyed most of Japans infrastructure, homes, jobs, and schools. They had massive loss of life and a potentially devastating threat of a nuclear disaster. However, they did not take advantage of each other, they worked together to help each other survive. People actually waited in line to get food for others instead of themselves. How many Americans would do that for a fellow American? Typically, Americans do come to the aide of those in need, unfortunately, many are as self serving as our politicians.

Take a close look at the recent tornadoes, earthquakes, floods, droughts, and hurricanes that have caused distress in many parts of our country. During these hard times, how many of them, that lost everything, were prepared? Of course, during some of these disasters, had they been prepared, they still might have lost most of their emergency supplies, however, if everyone was prepared, then the lucky ones could help those who lose everything.

FEMA has begun buying up emergency food supplies in mass quantities. They have actually put other peoples orders on back-order, even though the others placed their orders first. What are they preparing for? You can verify these facts from the governments own website that they are buying massive amounts of food and storing it underground, for what?

Better prepare yourself for something they are not telling us. Is it nuclear, devastating earthquake, meteor shower, or radiation burst when the planets are all lined up in 2012. They are not preparing for a picnic at the park, that I can assure you. Therefore, you better prepare yourself. Do not wait on the government to save you. In the event of a national disaster, they may not be able to get to you for many months, possibly years depending on the nature of the disaster.

Now granted, even if they do know something they can not tell the public. WHY? Because people are pretty much idiots, they would act like complete hooligans, looting, stealing, robbing, rape, murder, and so on. It would become a lawless land, because there are far too many simple minded fools out there. Stop and remember, did your grandparents stock up on food and supplies or did they just assume that the government would save them?

There has been much debate about December 21st, 2012. Will it be the end of the world, NO! Will it be the end of the world as we know it? Maybe, the planets will all be lined up, and nobody really knows what that means, meteor showers, solar burst, magnetic pulls, or changes, who knows. The Myans created a calendar that ends on that day and they based everything on the planets. That day could be nothing more than the reset of their calendar system, who knows, but apparently FEMA is not betting on that theory.

If a huge meteor were to hit the ocean, there will be catastrophic tsunamis world wide. If some hit the land, there will be fires, creating smoke, dirt and dust clouds that would choke out the sunlight. Remember what you learned in school, how it killed the plant and vegetation leaving no food for the dinosaurs. And water would most likely be undrinkable or frozen.

Only a fool will dwell on these things, and a true survivor will be prepared for anything. You should at least be prepared for basic, normal disasters and be willing to help as many people as possible. Just think, even if the government finally gets around to you, that doesn’t mean they will have anything left!

Anti-or-Pro Union

This is a touchy subject that must be addressed on several levels. First off, I have 13 years as a former Teamster. I am a pro-union MEMBER supporter, however, I am anti-union LEADERSHIP. Today the unions have become totalitarian, greed-driven, political monsters. The actual union members, however, are the backbone of the American work force and do not necessarily have the same mindset as their union leaders. Far too often, they must agree with them or face retribution.

Taking a look back into history, one will discover that without the unions, we would still be in a scenario where people work 18 hours a day and earn only $2.00 in wages at the end of a week. Yes, you might want to thank a union member for the wages you are earning today. However, the unions are failing their own members in many ways and at different levels.

In our current environment, many of the unions are working with corporations in eliminating the senior members and bringing in lower wage labor. In many cases, the unions have replaced union members with undocumented workers who was then required to become union. The only thing that could possibly make sense is that they are getting kick backs from the increased corporate profits. They are possibly pocketing more by not paying out the pensions from the previous members. And of course all the while, still collecting monthly dues from both.

I have even seen where unions actually represented both sides. There was a time when I worked for a government contractor and the union represented the government employee’s, then the contractor became union and then they were working both sides. The government wanted to outsource many positions and the union was fighting to keep those government jobs, yet they started representing the contractors own employees and were trying to get them more government jobs. How does this work? Collecting dues from both sides and serving neither.

Why is the head of the AFCLIO in direct contact with the Presidents office daily and visits the White House 2-3 times a week? There is some apparent political meandering and potential wrong doing happening here. Unions leaders need to scale back their political agenda and go back to focusing on their members. Instead of working with a President who wants to bring the American workers inline with that of immigrant workers, they should be fighting to bring the immigrant workers wages in line with that of the American worker. We need to acknowledge that there is a problem with the unions and set to fix it. American workers are a lot better-off with their help then without.
